Poverty Level Numbers Have Increased In Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, OH -- USAFACTS has reported that the poverty level in Warren County, Ohio has increased from 4.6% from 2015 to 2019 of the population to 6% from 2020 to 2024.

"The poverty rate is the percentage of people in a population whose household income falls below the poverty threshold set by the government," explains USAFACTS recent report.

During the five years of 2015–2019, it was reported that 10,100 people in Warren County were living in povery level. In 2020-2024, it is estimted that there are about 14,600 residents in Warren County who are now living in poverty level.

According to the USAFACTS report. from 2015–2019 to 2020–2024, the poverty rate for children under 18 in Warren County increased from 4.8% to 6.5%. During the same period, the poverty rate for adults under 65 years increased from 4.5% to 5.3%. For those older than 65, the poverty rate increased from 4.3% to 7.5%.

Poverty level measures the share of individuals or families who do not earn enough to meet basic needs such as food, housing, and healthcare.
