No Mulligans at PUTTERS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL

MAINEVILLE, OH -- Always up to a sports bar for the casual atmosphere and it's fun getting to watch the many screens. And then, there is the food !

Recently, we decided to check out PUTTERS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL (6040 State Rt. 48 in Maineville) for lunch. Located in a strip center off Rte 48, we were happy to see flower boxes and outdoor seating as we entered the restaurant. Inside the door, a blackboard read: Burger of the Month, Wing of the Month and Soup.

Lots of screens, beer signs, many high top tables and a large bar were inside. We picked a normal table. There are fewer of these, but they do have some if that is your preference. Even at a weekday lunch, there was a fair sized crowd inside.

Our friendly server told us about specials and even a “summer menu,” which was a nice surprise for a sports bar! It is always nice to have a more expanded menu to choose from.

We LOVE sauerkraut balls and they were only $10.00. So, we decided to try an order with our local beer and wine. We were happy to see Rhinegeist, Astra, and Sonder to name a few.

I tried a “summer special,”... Chicken Florentine sandwich ($14.00), served with Saratoga Chips. My companion ordered the Chicken Philly ($11.00).

There are 5 sandwiches and 5 wraps and 1 burger, which are $11.00 making lunch/dinner prices “in budget” for most folks. They also have a kids menu with 5 choices for only $6.00 each.

The bill for lunch with Sauerkraut Balls, 1 Beer, 1 Wine plus tax (tip not included) ... $53.90.

We left an $11.00 tip. We really enjoyed the food and the fact that they have “specials” is a real plus.
