Warren, Butler, and Montgomery County EMAs to Host Weather Spotter Training

MIDDLETOWN, OH -- Warren County EMA, in collaboration with Butler County EMA and Montgomery County EMA, is hosting a joint Weather Spotter Training on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Atrium Medical Center’s Professional Building, 200 Medical Center Drive in Middletown. 

This free class is open to anyone interested in learning how to identify and report severe weather conditions safely and accurately.

Led by a National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologist, this training will cover essential weather spotting techniques, safety measures, and the role of trained Weather Spotters in severe weather reporting. Participants will have the opportunity to register as official Weather Spotters, contributing valuable real-time weather data that aids meteorologists in making timely and accurate warnings.

Due to limited seating, registration is required and will be capped at 150 attendees.
