MIDDLETOWN, OH -- Essity, a global health and hygiene company, hosted its first Careers in Manufacturing Day at its papermaking and converting facility in Middletown om Thursday, October 2.

Local students from Carlisle High School joined by Essity leadership and experienced firsthand the innovations in modern manufacturing and how these advancements work. The students explored the many opportunities a career in manufacturing can offer.

The day featured small group tours of the manufacturing and shipping facilities, hands-on activities to experience manufacturing in action, and time with Essity’s operational employees, engineers, technicians, and leadership team.

Essity is a leading global hygiene and health company. Essity Middletown produces Parent Rolls (Mother Reels) of towel and tissue paper, supporting Essity’s converting facility in Harrodsburg, KY, in producing products under the leading global Tork brand.
