CAESAR CREEK LAKE, OH -- Since Nature's timing is unpredictable, choosing the date for this exciting hike has been changed a few time in order to make sure we have the best chance to observe the amphibians migrating to their breeding ponds. The actual hike date could not be determined until the Wednesday before the hike. 

Together, this Saturday March 5, we will search for salamanders as they awaken from hibernation and move towards their breeding ponds. 

Please dress for the weather - boots and a flashlight are essential. Plan 2 hours for the hike. Call the Visitor Center to register at 513.897.1050.
