FRANKLIN, OH -- Franklin's City Mayor Brent Centers swore in the city's new Chief of Fire & EMS Daniel Stitzel at Tuesday night's council meeting. Stitzel, who is served as Riverside's Fire Chief for the past six years, is replacing Andy Riddiough who stepped down in late December.
Prior to his position at Riverside, Stitzel served as the deputy chief in Mason and as shift safety officer in Huber Heights. He is also an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College. Along with holding an Associate Degree in Public Safety services Administration, Stitzel holds a BA in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University.
