BLANCHESTER, OH -- Ida Miller, a Blanchester Girl Scout Leader of Troop #45988, is trying really hard to help her girls make their dream come true and she needs our help.

Miller entered a National Park adventure contest to try and win for her troop the 2024 Ultimate Explorer Competition, and she has hurdled through six rounds since August to the Quarter-finals in hopes to win and take her girl scouts on their dream senior trip to the Grand Canyon via Route 66.

If Miller wins, her plans are to give her troop, which she has had since 2012, the trip they have dreamed of... the Grand canyon and experience parts of Route 66 for their senior trip. The girls have been working hard trying to raise the funds to make this dream a reality by selling cookies, working craft shows, selling hotdogs at Lebanon’s annual Iron’s Apple Fest, bake sales, and much more to earn funds.

To cast a free daily vote visit https://ultexplorer.org/2024/ida-miller-u9JK to help these girl make a once in a lifetime memory to the Grand Canyon.

Daily voting is free and runs until midnight Oct 3.  Then, votes will be reset and the finals will begin October 11th and end October 17th. Public voting will determine which finalist will be the Grand Prize Winner of the 2024 Ultimate Explorer Competition.

What is the Ultimate Explorer Competion? Good question... it's where one adventure seeker will win $10,000, explore national parks in an expedition-ready Winnebago RV, and appear in Outside Magazine.
