Mason Community Players will host the smash comedy hit Blithe Spirit this April and May.  A cantankerous novelist, Charles Condomine, has remarried, but finds himself haunted by the ghost of his late first wife, Elvira when she is called up by a v​isiting medium, the eccentric Madame Arcati. Clever, insistent, and well aware of Charles' shortcomings, Elvira clashes with Charles’ current wife, Ruth, who is not about to give him up without a fight.

Veteran MCP Director, Susan Berger, is working with Producer, Eric Grimm, to bring this show back to life. Set in England in the 1930s, this much-revived classic is sure to amuse audiences. Visit the Mason Community Playhouse this April 25, 26, May 1, 2 & 3 at 8:00 p.m., or April 27 at 2:00 p.m. to witness a ghostly battle of the hearts.

Mason Community Players is the oldest continually operating community theater organization in Warren County, OH. After Blithe Spirit, MCP’s spooky season of 2025 continues with The Pirates of Penzance in July, followed by The Haunting of Hill House in October and November.
