LEBANON, OH -- Warren County's Dave Woehr was a part of the engineering team that produced the CF6 engines for these aircrafts.
Today being the last day that a 747 rolls of the line, it was only fitting that Woehr captured one flying over his house.
"At 9000 feet over my house this 747 freighter is on approach to the Greater Cincinnati airport from overseas. The first 747 rolled off the assembly line in 1969. Today the last 747 rolls off the line marking the end of an era. I was part of the engineering team that produced the CF6 engines for this magnificent aircraft during my career days," Woehr said.
