WARREN COUNTY, OH -- On Tuesday, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01)  departed on a bipartisan Congressional delegation with Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries to visit important allies and partners in Europe and the Middle East.

In London, Landsman will meet with top government and private sector leaders to reinforce the strong economic and security partnership that exists between the United States and the United Kingdom during a time of global uncertainty.

While in Denmark, discussions will focus on the importance of the NATO alliance and the geopolitical status of Greenland.

During Landsman’s time in the Middle East, the delegation will visit with senior officials in Israel and Jordan to discuss the threats that exist with Iran and its proxies, as well as the opportunity to secure a lasting ceasefire in Gaza – one that brings home the hostages, removes Hamas from power, delivers humanitarian aid to Palestinians civilians, and lays the groundwork for long term peace in the region.

“While Trump is creating chaos around the world, we’re focused on reaffirming alliances and strengthening partnerships that keeps America secure. I’m grateful to join this bipartisan delegation and take part in important and serious discussions across Europe and the Middle East," said Landsman, adding, "We have to work together to promote stability and strong relationships.”
