WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has urged House members to head back to Washington D.C. to vote on the government funding bill to end the government shutdown, which is now in its 41st day, that the Senate passed on Monday night. Warren County's Congressman Greg Landsman has this statement on the current situation...

"Twenty-two million Americans will pay so much more for healthcare because of this, including 32,000 folks in my district in Southwest Ohio. All while the vast majority of Americans – in poll after poll – have made it clear what they want: reopen the government and extend our healthcare subsidies.

I’ve heard this loud and clear from my constituents, too. They want a real bipartisan agreement to reopen the government and protect their healthcare. I assume all of us that have been fighting to protect our constituents from soaring healthcare costs will vote against this."
