The Main Event in Maineville Is MAINE TOWNE KITCHEN AND BAR

MAINEVILLE, OH -- Although we love to keep up with all the NEW places in Warren County, we hadn’t heard about MAINE TOWNE until we got our Lebanon HS Baseball coupons. So, we had to check this out.

MAINE TOWNE , 8143 Ohio Rte 48, Maineville, Oh 45039 is at the crossroads of 48 and Foster Maineville Roads in the very heart of Maineville. It is in the restored 1830’s home of John Michael , a former Mayor.

As you enter the building, the bar is on the first floor with dining rooms on the second floor and available outdoor seating in the front and in the rear, outside of the bar. We opted a table in the bar area for lunch. Seating is limited on the first floor, however, with summer coming, I can see many happy times in the outdoor areas.

The Menu is not extensive, but we found some fun things. The GRIPPO TOTS were something unique as they were Tater ToTs coated with the famous “GRIPPO “ seasoning. Dipped in ranch dressing, they were a spicy BBQ treat and something we hadn’t had before. (Thought of Jim Scott while we were enjoying these !)

Lunch out included one of the craft beers, which they had a nice variety. We tried the Alaskan Amber, but others like BC and Rhinegeist were also available.

We started our meal with the pretzel and queso cheese dip plus a “sample” of the whipped feta cheese dip, as this is one of their own creations.

The Entrees we tried were the Cuban Sandwich, which was not on the menu, but is listed “online” and the Mexicali Salad, which was tasty and different from most Mexican salads, including things like “pickled peppers and onions.” It was a large salad. So, with the side order of Tots shared, it was more than enough.

We enjoyed the lunch and will plan on going back sometime when we can sit outside.  Everyday there is a Lunch Special, which is a choice of flatbread and salad for $15. The Cuban Sandwich is $16 and the Mexicali Salad is $17. The GRIPPO TOTS are a $6 side while the beer was $6 per beer. The Pretzel was Free due to us having the Lebanon Baseball Coupon. (Normally, it is $7.)  Total for lunch - without tip- was $54.43 for two. This was a bit pricey, however, you might consider going for appetizers and beer or the $15.00 lunch special and a non alcoholic beverage to spend less.

Parking is available in the front of the building, on the side and behind the strip stores next door. They do not take reservations.
