MASON, OH -- The Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) is excited to announce that their cookbook "Recipes from the 'HART'" is now on sale! The proceeds from the book will benefit the homeless dogs and cats under HART's care, awaiting adoption.
The beautiful coil-bound cookbook is a collection of over 280 recipes in nine categories, including a category devoted to homemade pet food and treats. Helpful kitchen and recipe hints are included in each section, along with space for additional recipes throughout the book. Recipe contributors' names are shown beside their recipe(s), and a four-page collage at the front of the cookbook features many of their pets.
Cookbooks are $20 each and are available at:
- County Animal Hospital, 1185 Reading Road in Mason (cash or check payable to HART).
- HART's website. Arrangements can be made for order pick-up or shipping for an additional charge.
Please visit www.rescueahart.org for details. For more information about the cookbook or other HART events and fundraisers, please contact Brenda Porter, HART Volunteer, at (740) 703-8798.
