Waynesville: Water Main Replacement and Street Improvements on Tonight's Agenda

WAYNESVILLE, OH -- Village Council will be voting on two personnel contracts. Both Prosecutor Mark Webb and Magistrate Rob Kaufman for Village Mayor’s Court have contracts that are up for renewal. Kaufman’s contract will be retroactive to January 1 and will be increased to $8,600 per year to be eligible for PERS benefits.

Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting are two contracts with Choice One Engineering. One is for construction plans for the Third Street water main replacement and street resurfacing not to exceed $37,5000 and declaring it an emergency.

The second project with Choice One Engineering is not to exceed $43,150 and is for construction plans for the Franklin Road water main replacement and street improvements. It is also declared to be an emergency reading.

(An emergency reading means, there only needs to be one reading than the usual three for the ordinance or resolution to pass and is usually due to timing issues.)
