SPRINGBORO, OH -- The CinDay Academy held a service project that involved all of its students, as well as the students' families. Coming together as a school family, the gym was packed last Friday (December 5, 2025), as they made over 200 meals for the St. Vincent de Paul Shelter.

Decorating the food bags kept many of the students busy.

The students showed excitement as they came together to use their helping hands to support those in need. All grades, preschool through 12 grade, participated in the service project.

Students were kept busy making over 200 sandwiches.

"The gym was filled with joy," noted Chloe Fields as sandwiches, chips, applesauce, water, and other food items were being packed in decorated Christmas bags created by the students.

A second grade student said, “I felt happy doing service for others!”

Students of all ages took part in helping make the food bags.

A couple fifth grade students agreed that they  enjoyed giving back to the people, and it was a fun process as they were able to help people in need and come together as a school.

Fields added that at The CinDay Academy, they value serving and helping others as well as sharing kindness and spreading love to our community.
