LEBANON, OH -- Now that the 2024 Great American Eclipse has come and gone, what can you do with your eclipse glasses?
Warren County Park District and the Warren County Astronomical Society are accepting used eclipse glasses to be used for the next eclipse in Africa, which according to the NBC News will be August 2, 2027.
"They (the glasses) will be tested for safety and saved for the next eclipse in Africa," reads the Warren County Park District Newsletter.
The glasses can be...
- mailed or dropped off (Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am to 3pm) at the Armco Park office 1223 North State Route 741, Lebanon, OH 45036
- Or, bring them to a WCAS event.
