Landsman Statement on Israel-Hamas Deal to Release Hostages and Pause Fighting
WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) released the following statement following the announcement of a ceasefire and hostage deal between Israel and Hamas.
“I am praying for the safe return of all hostages, the end of this war, and the beginning of a new chapter that could lead to sustained peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians.
“Hamas must be done, and the international community must work to rebuild Gaza, sideline Iran, and end terror in the region.”
Landsman has traveled to the Middle East over a dozen times, including four times in his first term as a member of Congress. He also worked in Israel from 2015-2020, prior to becoming a member of Congress, supporting philanthropic efforts.
