WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Warren County's Congressman Greg Landsman is part of a group of 35 members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, working together "to build a plan and set a path forward" that would protect healthcare for 22 million Americans.
"In Southwest Ohio, 32,000 people are going to see their healthcare costs skyrocket. I promised folks I would be a part of any bipartisan effort to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits so people can keep their care," Landsman wrote in his weekly newsletter.
Landsman shared that the bipartisan group, which has been meeting over the past few weeks, announced "Commonground 2025: A Bipartisan Health Care Framework" last week to their colleagues and are asking leadership to take up the proposed solution.
Top line summary reads .... "Two-year extension of health insurance premium savings for American families — including a year of the enhanced Premium Tax Credits (ePTCs), with targeted modifications, to be voted on by December 18, 2025, in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives."
