Spring Into Action With Warren County Park District

WARREN COUNTY, OH --   Friends of Warren County Park District and the Warren County Park District Staff will be busy doing some spring cleaning at three of the county's major parks this weekend:

  • Armco Park: 1223 N SR 741, Lebanon- Meet at Shelter 21
  • Hisey Park: 5443 Middletown Rd., Waynesville- Meet at Shelter
  • Landen-Deerfield Park: 2258 N SR 22/3, Maineville- Meet at Shelter by biking/hiking trails

They are also looking for others who enjoy the outdoors and the parks who would like to  participate in the spring volunteer even. 

"We will be concentrating on invasive honeysuckle and garlic mustard removal and general park clean-up at each park location. The Friends of Warren County Park District is generously providing bottled water and snacks, and each participant will be given a pair of work gloves to keep,"  reads the park district's newsletter. 

While participants of all ages are welcome, all minors must be accompanied by an adult. "Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and feel free to bring hand tools (pruners) if you have them. We will have a few trash grabbers and hand tools to share as well," reads the WCPD newsletter. The event is scheduled for:

  • Sat., May 17, 2025
  • 10:00am - noon
