MIDDLETOWN, OH --  As we start this time of the year that many know as “The Season of Giving,”Woodside Cemetery has felt the need to help those in the community who are in need of a lifesaving blood donation. In fact, each blood donation can save the lives of 3 people.

In honor of the many loved ones who had passed over the years, Woodside Cemetery and Woodside Funeral Home (1401 Woodside Drive) will be hosting an “Honor Your Loved One” Blood Drive on Friday, October 17th from 10am to 4pm.

“Woodside Cemetery has humbly served generations of families within the Greater Middletown community, and this blood drive is a wonderful way for families to pay tribute to loved ones who has passed on. And, through our blood drive partnership with Hoxworth, we’ll be able to meet the urgent blood supply that is needed during what we all know as the “Season of Giving”. With a single donation able to save up to three lives, we hope that the community will rally around this event, said Dan Diver, General Manager of Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.

The entire City of Middletown and surrounding communities are cordially invited and encouraged to schedule an appointment at: hoxworth.org/groups/woodside or call 513-451-0910. Walk-ins are always welcomed, but appointments are strongly preferred.

For more information on covering this “Honor Your Loved One” Blood Drive, please contact Dan Diver, General Manager at 513-422-3291.
